About Antique Venture
The whole reason I made Antique Venture was to educate people who may not know much about retro and vintage tech. Behind my lighthearted video game reviews I really do enjoy showing others how stuff works, giving basic tips and tricks, how to fix hardware and computers as well as retro consoles. I love Atari, but specifically the Atari ST. I own a huge amount of games, projectors, consoles, hardware, computers, vintage items and much more.
How I Found Glomble
I found Glomble completely by accident after a crap night with YouTube. A random Reddit post popped up during the Glomble boom and when I tried the site it was just an error page. Made an account a few months later after it all cleared over and it was a completely different experience.
YouTube never really worked out for me, the community there was rough but Glomble has been the opposite of that. Honestly without Glomble I do not know where I would be right now. It's the best decision i have made in a long time. Haivng fun posting videos and making videos for all of you.
About Blue David
If you've been following Antique Venture for a while you may know of Blue David, but where did he come from? Originally he came from a video created by Day of the Week. David slowly developed the idea, including Blue David in multiple other videos, first appearing in the 75th Follower Special as an easter egg. He later appeared in Star Wars Games Review, Antique Laser Program Teaser Trailer, Destroying Red Glomble and Theme Park Review. His story is still beginning and will continue in The Blue David Movie, coming soon after the 200 Follower Special.
About David
Hello, my name is David and I created the Antique Venture Glomble account and this website. Before going by David I was a basic projectionist and video gamer. I love old tech and find it incredibly interesting how it all works. I have studied film and I hope that shows in some of my videos, specifically I study classic silent films and 1920s to 1950s classics. Film is my passion and it plays a big part in how I create my Glomble videos. Even though I am well known for playing older games I also love newer horror games, and yes specifically horror. Outlast, Resident Evil, Metro, Amnesia and Doom are kickass games and the newer Doom games are awesome!
